Breathe
into me life like you did to Adam.
Give to me
the newness that you gave to Lazarus.
Purify my
words like you purified Paul’s.
Cleanse me
of sin like the adulterous woman.
Grant me
wisdom like that of Soloman.
And when I
go to speak, to pray, or to serve,
Let my
being give back to you all that you've given me.
