We Will Have Love

We use words to brake and also to mend.
We use them to write, draw and express.
We use words to think, we use words to wonder.
But in the end, however; There will be no words
In the awe and splendor of the Magnificent, there will be no telling, asking, braking or mending
No writing, drawing, expressing or wondering.
There will be love.
We will love and admire all we had in our last life.
All those stories we told and people we asked,
All of the tales we wrote, pictures we drew, and problems we expressed.
All of the questions we thought and dreams we've wandered.
We will have love.

 Father Forgive Them

As Judas Betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver
still Jesus muttered, Father forgive them
As the Jews yelled out for the death of their KING
Jesus was thinking, Father forgive them.
After saying "I'd never.....!" still Peter denied
his faithful Friend, who meanwhile cried, Father forgive him.
Thirty-nine lashes of bones and metal searing into his back,
Jesus' words did not lack, Father forgive them.
Nails in His feet, a spear in His side,
in desperation Jesus cried, FATHER, FORGIVE THEM!

With help from my much loved sister; inspired by Jesus (luke 23:34)

Dancing With Love

Love took my hand and spun me around,
He showed me the world and what it has to offer.
I fell in Love's arms and was swept off my feet,
The way Love looked at me, I will never forget.
He told me with his eyes that he would never let me go,
I told him with my heart, I would never leave.
We danced for hours; we danced around the world,
All of a sudden, my heart stopped, knowing there would have to be an end,
We'd depart, and I'd be heartbroken once more.
Then He gently kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear,
"I am Love, I never end."
